Mean Vegans

• New York Magazine released a list of "Mean Vegans" - vegan's who, as we've been calling them here at The Discerning Brute, are Not TOFU-k With. On the NYM list is Timothy Bradley, Georges Laraque, Mike Tyson, Mac Danzig, Bryan Danielson, Russell Brand, Rob Bigwood, Alec Baldwin, Steve-O, and Bill Ford. However, their list is rather incomplete, leaving out many high-performance and bad-ass vegans. All it takes is one quick peek at our "Brutes" Pinterest page to get a better idea of the huge presence of plant-powered athletes as well as those flexing their brain muscles. We're not complaining to much, though. Seeing more and more lists like this in the mainstream media is reassuring that veganism is no passing trend.
