Lu Flux Takes Us Far Away

We first reported on the designer, Lu Flux in July. The London-based designer's collections seem to overflow with child-like innocence combined with a mastery of craftsmanship and vision. She uses only salvaged, vintage and organic fabrics. The shoes you see depicted below are all available in a vegan version. The collection that will be on the racks soon, for Spring '11 is called Over the Hills & Far Away, and uses botanical, landscape, and narrative-prints, geometric shapes and patterning, and a soft palette. Did I mention that I've always wanted a toile suit in baby blue? Plus, these models are pretty awesome - this guy looks like a friggin' lion and his pal is a cooler version of Tori Amos circa 1990. Can we be in a band together, please?
